Ato Keta has been a leader in different governmental organisations over the last 13 years. He is experienced in community organisation and mobilisation. He has a BA in economics from the Civil Service College, Addis Ababa and MA from the University of Bangalore, India. Most recently, he has served as project co-ordinator for the Culture and Art Society of Ethiopia. He was in charge of the Chencha Handicraft Project in the Gamo highlands.

One of the founding members of GIAMA, Temesgen was appointed Program Officer in 2007. He has worked for non profit organisations as Program Officer, Project and Training Officer, and community based institutions expert for the last 6 years. He has a BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University.

Founder of GIAMA, Befetary has helped organise The Thousand Stars Music Festival in Arba Minch since 2005.

Based in London,  Nico is a documentary film maker and photograper. He has partnered with Gughe in recording and documenting the Festival and regional music and dance, and in capacity building projects and Festival planning since 2005.
